Welcome!
From the time I could hold a crayon, creating art of some sort or another has occupied a major portion of my daily activities.
Once upon a time, these industrious hands actually established my own Hand Painted Chocolate Company, learned to play guitar (poorly mind you), wrote and continue to write copious volumes of poems, stories and songs. Most important of all, they have held the wee hands of my new born children.
Now, along side the writing, I seem to paint and paint and paint and paint. I occasionally work in oils but feel more comfortable using acrylics due to their forgiving nature. Needless to say, we can all use a little forgiveness.
Gosh, who knows where they all will go but it doesn’t matter much to me. What really matters is that I keep on searching for new ideas and ways of expressing myself in a world filled with countless opportunities to do so.
Thank you to my dear family, talented teachers and true friends for the encouragement you have so generously bestowed upon this small soul.
Where would ART have sprung from had you not taken the time to listen to my ramblings on life and love with all their complexities?
When I was a girl my Grandfather said to my Mother, “That child of yours never stops talking. She’s curious about everything and will either be a Telephone Operator or a Hog Caller.”
“Well Grandpa, it’s not over yet and if I keep my nose peeled to the want ads… who knows what might turn up?”
